How do I buy something on Whop?
Updated
The short answer
Open the seller’s Whop page, choose the product, and pay by card at the checkout. You make an account with your email as part of paying, so the platform can deliver the product and handle refunds. Access arrives as soon as the payment clears — instantly for a file, a chat or a course.
Step by step
Open the link the seller shared, or search the Whop marketplace. Read the listing: what is included, whether it is one-off or monthly, and what the refund rule says.
Choose the product and pay. You will be asked for an email address, which is where your receipt and any download link go, so use one you actually read.
Once payment clears you are let in. A community appears in your Whop account, a course opens as a tab, and a downloadable file is delivered by link or email.
What to check before paying
Whether it renews. A lot of Whop products are monthly memberships, and a renewal you did not notice is the most common complaint buyers have.
The refund rule, written on the listing. A seller who does not state one has told you something useful.
Reviews of that seller, not of Whop. Whop is a place, not a promise, and the quality is entirely down to whoever listed the product.
Warning signs
Guaranteed returns, "you cannot lose", or a specific income figure promised. Nobody can guarantee those, and the listings that do are the ones people regret.
Pressure to pay outside Whop’s own checkout. Paying through the platform is what gives you a receipt, a record and somewhere to complain.
