How do I get a refund on Whop?
Updated
The short answer
Refunds on Whop are decided by the seller, not by Whop. Start by messaging the seller through the community or the contact details on the listing, quoting your order and the reason. If they agree, the refund is issued through Whop and returns to the card you paid with. Escalate only after that.
Ask the seller first
Find the purchase in your Whop account and use the seller’s support channel or the contact route on the listing. Give the order date, the product name and one clear sentence about why.
Be specific about what was missing or misdescribed. "It was not for me" is a much weaker request than "the listing said X was included and it is not".
Give them a few days. Most sellers are one person, not a support department.
If the seller refuses
Check what the listing actually promised. If it stated no refunds and delivered what it described, a refusal is within the seller’s rights and a dispute is unlikely to go your way.
If the seller promised a refund and then refused, or never delivered at all, take it to Whop support with screenshots of the listing and your messages. That evidence is what decides it.
Your bank is the last step
A chargeback with your bank exists for products that were never delivered or were plainly not as described. Use it after the other routes, not instead of them.
It is not a way out of a refund policy you agreed to, and raising one usually ends your access and your relationship with that seller for good.
Stopping a renewal instead
If the problem is a recurring charge rather than the product, cancel the membership in your purchases. That stops future payments without needing anybody’s agreement.
Cancelling does not refund the payment already taken, and you normally keep access until the paid period ends.
