What is the Whop marketplace?
Updated
The short answer
The Whop marketplace, also called discover, is the public area where anyone can browse what sellers are offering: paid communities, courses, tools and digital products, sorted by category and popularity. Sellers can list there to be found by strangers, but it sends a trickle of traffic rather than a stream.
How listings get found
Categories and search do most of the work, helped by signals the platform can measure: how many members you have, how recently you were active, how your ratings look, and whether your page is properly filled in.
A thin listing with no description, no images and no reviews will sit at the bottom of every category. A complete one at least gets the chance.
What it is honestly worth
Treat marketplace traffic as a bonus, not a plan. Almost every seller earning well on Whop brought their own audience from somewhere else.
The sellers who do get marketplace sales tend to be established, with a visible member count and real reviews. That is a position you reach after selling, not before.
Making the most of a listing
Write for a stranger. State who it is for, what they get, and how often you deliver. Assume the reader has never heard of you, because they have not.
Ask early buyers for reviews. On a marketplace where everything claims to change your life, a handful of specific reviews is the strongest thing on your page.
Keep the page current. A listing describing last year’s offer reads as abandoned, and abandoned listings do not get clicked.
