Can I sell outside my Whop community?
Updated
The link is public
Yes. Every Whop product has a link that works anywhere on the open web. You can post it on social media, put it in a newsletter, or put it on your own site, and somebody who has never heard of your community can click it and buy. Nothing forces a buyer to join anything first.
That makes Whop usable as a plain checkout, with your own site as the front door.
What the buyer sees
They land on the product page, pay, and receive whatever the product grants — a file, a course, community access.
If the product is a downloadable file, the download opens for them inside the community as soon as the payment clears. They do not have to wander around to find it.
Selling from your own site
You can keep your website as the front door and use the platform only for checkout and delivery.
That is a common setup: your writing lives where you control it, the money and the files are handled by something you did not have to build.
Keep one link, not five
Send every post to the same page. Scattering people across five different links makes it impossible to tell what is working.
A store app gives you one address for your whole catalogue, which is easier to say out loud and easier to remember.
