How do I connect my Discord server to Whop?
Updated
The short answer
To connect your Discord server to Whop, add the Discord app to a whop you manage. Open its setup, choose your server, and authorize the Whop bot. Set the bot’s role order and choose the member roles it should assign. Then set which product gives access and check the member view.
Connect the right server
You need permission to manage the Discord server. From the Whop Discord app, open its admin settings and select Connect Discord. Check the server name in Discord’s authorization screen before you approve.
Follow the role-order prompt in Discord. The bot must be able to manage the roles you want it to grant. Return to Whop and refresh the role list if you recently changed roles.
Choose roles and access rules
Select the role for each paid offer and check which channels it can see. Keep staff permissions out of member roles. In Whop, set the Discord app’s visibility and the products that include it.
Review the app’s settings for past-due payments and ended memberships. Check the member preview and the Claim Access flow. Linking the server does not mean every buyer has linked their own Discord account.
