Can you sell digital products on Facebook Marketplace?
Updated
Marketplace is for physical items
No. Facebook Marketplace is built around local pickup and shipping, has no digital delivery, and usually removes digital listings. What does work on Facebook is groups and pages: you find the buyers there and send them to a checkout that lives somewhere else.
Sellers who ignore that end up messaging files by hand, which does not scale and invites disputes.
What Facebook is actually good for
Groups. A group full of people with the same problem is one of the best places to sell a digital product, if you are a real member rather than a drive-by poster.
A Page with a link in the bio works too. The checkout just has to happen elsewhere.
How to do it without getting removed
Be useful in the group for weeks before you sell anything. Ask the admins what is allowed.
Then post the link once, in the right place, with a clear description. One good post beats ten removed ones.
Where the checkout should live
Any storefront gives you a link that works fine in a Facebook post or a message.
If your community already lives somewhere like Whop, put the catalogue there and share that one link everywhere.
