Payhip is an online platform that lets you sell products directly to your audience. You can sell digital downloads, physical items, courses, memberships, and coaching services. It connects to Stripe or PayPal to take customer payments. All plans offer the same features, and Payhip helps calculate and collect European and UK VAT.
What you can sell on Payhip
Payhip lets creators sell many kinds of items. You can upload digital files like ebooks, music, or design templates. You can also sell physical goods that you ship in the mail. If you want to teach, you can set up courses, offer coaching sessions, or run a membership.
Every plan on Payhip includes affiliate tools. This means other people can help promote your products and earn a fee on sales they bring in. You do not need an expensive plan to unlock any of these product types.
How Payhip plans and fees work
Payhip has three plans: Free, Plus, and Pro. All three plans share the exact same features. The real difference is what you pay when an item sells. As you move to higher plans, the per-sale fee gets smaller. On the Pro plan, that per-sale fee is gone.

How Payhip handles VAT
If you sell digital files to buyers in other countries, sales tax can get tricky. Payhip helps by calculating and collecting European Union and UK VAT during checkout. It looks at where your buyer lives and adds the proper tax to their order.
Collecting tax at checkout does not mean Payhip pays it for you. You are still the seller of record, so you must send that tax money to the government tax offices yourself.
A simpler way to sell single files
Payhip works well when you want an online store with multiple products. But sometimes you only want to share a single file with your followers. Setting up a full store can feel like extra steps when you just need a link.
