What printables are in high demand?
Updated
What sells all year
The printables in steady demand are practical everyday ones: budget and bill trackers, meal planners, cleaning and chore checklists, habit trackers, study planners and wall art. Seasonal printables — holidays, parties, back to school — sell in short bursts around a date. Steady sellers usually earn more across a year than seasonal spikes.
A shop built on steady sellers keeps earning in the quiet months, which is when most sellers give up.
What sells in bursts
Christmas, Halloween, Easter, Valentine’s, weddings, birthdays, the school year. Demand climbs for a few weeks and then disappears.
These work if you can produce quickly and publish months ahead, so the listing has time to be found before the date.
How to check demand before designing
Search the marketplace you plan to sell on. Look at how many listings exist, how many reviews the top ones have, and how recent those reviews are.
Recent reviews on many listings mean a live market. Lots of listings with no reviews mean a lot of people had the same idea and none of them sold.
Demand is not the same as opportunity
The highest-demand categories are also the hardest to be seen in. A narrow theme with fewer searchers is often the better first shop.
Pick one theme and make a full set. Scattered single listings rarely get found at all.
