How do I sell Canva templates?

Check the licence before anything else
You can sell Canva templates you designed yourself, delivered as a share-as-template link so each buyer gets an editable copy. One rule decides how you deliver: under Canva’s content licence, a design containing Canva Pro content may only be sold as a Canva template link, never exported as a PDF or PNG and sold as a file. A design built from free content can be exported. What you may not sell either way is Canva’s stock photos, fonts or elements on their own.
The safe route is to build with your own assets, or to keep Pro-content designs inside Canva as template links. Read Canva’s current content licence before you launch, because Canva sets those rules and changes them — this is the part that gets sellers in trouble.
Deliver a template link, not a file
Use the "share as template" link so buyers get their own editable copy. Sending a design file instead creates a support queue, and for anything built with Pro content the link is the only delivery Canva’s content licence allows.
Put the link in a small PDF along with instructions, so the buyer has something that does not expire in their inbox.
What a good pack contains
Enough variations that the buyer does not have to design anything: several layouts, a colour guide, and a note on which fonts to swap.
Preview images are the product for the buyer. Show every page, at readable size.
Where to sell
Etsy has browsing shoppers for this category. A storefront keeps more of the money and gives you the buyer.
