How much money can you make selling digital products?
Updated
Do the arithmetic yourself
What you make is people who see the product, times the share who buy, times the price, minus fees. Most sellers guess the price and ignore the first number, but the first number decides everything. Most make very little because almost nobody ever sees the page.
A minority make a steady side income. A few make a lot. The difference is audience, not tooling.
What conversion looks like
A product page shown to a warm audience — your own readers or members — converts far better than one shown to strangers from social media.
That gap is usually many times over, which is why an audience matters more than the product.
What most sellers make
Most make very little, because most never get past a handful of viewers. A minority make a steady side income. A few make a lot.
The difference is almost never the tool. It is whether anybody was already listening.
The fastest lever
For a seller with traffic: raise the price. For a seller without: get traffic. Everything else is a rounding error.
Work out which one you are before you spend another week on the product.
